The Meeting Place

Just off the beaten path near Kalamazoo, The Meeting Place has quietly held the title of Michigan's oldest sex club for more than 37 years. The venue is a sprawling 6,000-square-foot space built for a full night out — a DJ-lit dance floor with a stripper pole, a large hot tub, an outdoor firepit ringed by a 12-foot privacy fence, and 12 separate play rooms with more than 35 beds between them. A complimentary buffet and soft drinks keep the energy up through the night, and the club is BYOB, cigarette-friendly, and 420-friendly throughout. Parties run every Saturday night plus a themed event on the third Friday of each month, generally 8pm to noon the next day, with extended hours during BASH weekends. Entry is address-on-request only: new members call ahead, get walked through the rules and fees by phone, and receive directions to the club — no address is posted publicly. Couples must call and attend together, and single men must call to reserve a spot before every visit, since space for single males is limited and interview-gated. House culture leans toward a relaxed, consent-first vibe: no cell phones anywhere on site, no BDSM play, and street clothes are barred from the play and bedroom areas once inside. A private room and a dedicated "orgy room" for content creation are both available to rent for the night. The club also promotes sexual-health resources and keeps an active FetLife presence for its community.
