Allures Lifestyle is Sacramento's longest-running lifestyle event organizer — a pop-up operation that descends on the DoubleTree by Hilton Sacramento's grand ballroom and transforms it into what the group bills as Northern California's premier swinger dance-play party. Operating under the tagline "the force of irresistible attraction," Allures has run monthly hotel parties for over a decade and draws couples from across the greater Sacramento area and beyond. The setup reads more nightclub than back-room affair: romantic candlelight, fog machines, sensual mood lighting, and two large projector screens broadcasting music videos accompany a state-of-the-art DJ spinning Old School, R&B, Hip Hop, Latin, Pop, EDM, and Classic Rock. The main ballroom floor centers on a full dance floor with a stripper pole and go-go stage, flanked by reserved VIP round tables (seating eight each) and 10-by-7-foot draped VIP cabanas — each fitted with a sofa, loveseat, and coffee table — right on the dance floor. Adjacent to the ballroom, the "Boom Boom Room" play suite provides multiple beds, a double-sided St. Andrew's Cross, a multi-positional sex horse, and a sex swing, staffed by Allures personnel throughout the evening. Guests in the play suite are asked to be in lingerie or less; voyeurs are welcome but may be asked to vacate if space is needed. Overnight sleeping rooms — standard rooms through two-bedroom suites — can be reserved in the Allures hotel block, placing guests on dedicated Allures floors and including a goodie bag at check-in. The event calendar runs to monthly themed hotel dances plus more intimate "Fantasy Fridays" at rotating venues, casual Meet & Greets at nightclubs and lifestyle bars, and an ambitious roster of destination programming: a clothing-optional takeover in Jaco, Costa Rica, Hedonism II Jamaica dates, Bliss and Desire cruise ship charters, Vegas weekends, Gold Country motorcycle runs, boating flotillas, and camping trips. The signature event is the annual New Year's Eve "SEXabration Ball," which drew national news coverage in January 2020 after nearly 1,000 guests filled the DoubleTree. All hotel events are 21+; a full cash bar is on-site.
